Alex Dobre signs for Famalicão on a permanent basis

After six months at the Famalicense club, during which he scored three goals and three assists in 20 games, the striker signed a contract valid for two seasons.

The 24-year-old rose to prominence at Viitorul Constanta and moved into English football, where he played for Bury, Rochdale, Bournemouth, Yeovil Town and Wigan before moving to French side Dijon.

In March of this year, Alex Dobre became an A international for the Romania national team, having played two qualifying games for the 2024 UEFA European Championship.

I am very happy to be able to continue at Famalicão. I was very well received and it will be a pleasure to continue working with the people of the club. It has been an incredible six months from an individual and collective point of view. We went to the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup and were very close to the places that gave access to European competitions. This season we want to do even better and I hope to help with goals and assists for another good season”, revealed the player to the club’s website.
