Former Portugal Under-21 international Mano has signed a three year contract for Villarreal B, of the Segunda Division. Luís Miguel Lopes Mendes, better known as Mano, has spent all of his senior career at Belenenses, but due to the club’s relegation from the Liga Sagres last season, Mano decided to cut the cord and begin the search for a new club. Villarreal B are the club of his choice, and he is excited for the new season. “It just depends on me. If you work well, making good games and match what I can claim is being called into the senior team. It is with this objective that will work.” Mano previously represented Portugal at the 2007 U-20 World Cup.
