Tomás Silva extended his connection to Académico de Viseu until 2027.
Young midfielder Tomás Silva has extended his connection to Académico de Viseu until June 2027, the II Liga club’s SAD confirmed this Monday.
Wearing the Beirão emblem’s jersey since 2020, Tomás Silva, 19 years old, is one of the members of the Viseenses’ current squad who moved from the club’s youth ranks and, last season, making his debut in the main team, played in 15 official matches .
This season, it was already an option for coach Vítor Martins in three of the five official matches that the Viseenses played, used in the League Cup game, in the defeat in Vila do Conde against Rio Ave (3-0) and in the first two meetings in the II Liga, in the draw at Fontelo with Länk Vilaverdense (1-1) and in Tondela (2-2).
Académico de Viseu, currently ranked seventh in the II League, with six points, prepares for the game of the fifth round of the championship, with a trip to Oliveira de Azeméis, where they will face Oliveirense, third placed, with nine points, in a game scheduled for September 17th, at 11:00.
