Fredrik Aursnes, midfielder for Benfica and the Norwegian national team, gave an interview to the Norwegian television channel TV2. Market rumors and his role at Benfica were issues addressed.
Associated with Aston Villa in the summer market: “I heard about the rumors, yes, but I don’t think there was anything more than that. Money matters a little, but I love Benfica. I’m very happy to be at Benfica and, at the moment, I wouldn’t trade it for any club. It’s a fantastic club and it’s not something I want to trade for anything else.”
It has already been used in several positions on the field with Roger Schmidt: “It’s okay for me, I’m going to do my best on the field in whatever position I play. I approach it with an open mind and I even have fun playing in these new positions. Maybe it would be good to stick to just one position, but, on the other hand, having different roles can also be positive. It’s okay. I feel like I don’t have any top qualities, but I’m competent in almost all of them.”
