After the break for Data Fifa, the Brazilian Championship is back, and with it, Cartola FC, the most famous fantasy game among lovers of national football. The 23rd round of the event promises and features very competitive and special games.

In defense, solid names that have little chance of being leaked. Walter, from Cuiabá, faces second-placed team América-MG, at Arena Pantanal. In the middle of the defense, two players who exude security in the sector, Gustavo Gómez (Palmeiras) and Léo Pereira (Flamengo). Regular and with good access to the attack, Mayke and Juninho Capixaba are the bets on the sides.
Raphael Veiga was working for the Brazilian team and so he is doubtful about taking the field against Goiás. However, it is worth the risk in betting on the Palmeiras midfielder. With an excellent average of goals and assists, the number 23 alviverde is one of the main pieces of Abel Ferreira’s team. Alongside Veiga, Arias, from Fluminense, and Lucas Evangelista, from Red Bull Bragantino, complete the trident in the center of the field.
In attack, the chances of Deyverson and Germán Cano finding the net in the round are high. Cuiabá’s number 9 will face the weakest defense in the Brasileirão (América-MG), while the Argentinian from Fluminense faces his former team, Vasco, which is also having a terrible campaign in the competition and has one of the worst defensive sectors in the tournament. To conclude, Abel Ferreira, considered by many to be the main active coach in Brazil, commands the squad.

Lucas Evangelista (Red Bull Bragantino)
The Red Bull Bragantino midfielder had been maintaining good regularity, but ended up dropping his production in Massa Bruta’s last matches. The match against Grêmio, in Bragança Paulista, is important for the player to stand out again. With an average of 5.21 points in 19 games, the former São Paulo player needs a minimum of 1.67 points in this 23rd round to gain value.
Jhon Arias (Fluminense)
For a large part of the tricolor fans, Jhon Arias is Fluminense’s biggest highlight in 2023 so far. The Colombian is a great choice for the round, as he depreciated -0.98 cards in the last round and needs approximately 3.56 points against Vasco to start gaining value.
With two goals scored and three assists granted in 18 games played in the Brasileirão 2023, Arias has an average of 5.43 points at Cartola.
Ron (Palmeiras)
Rony was not selected in our ideal team of the round, but he is one of the good names for appreciation. Palmeiras’ number 10 striker needs approximately 1.86 points and the tendency is for him to stand out, as Porco hosts the irregular Goiás, at Allianz Parque. Rony entered the field 18 times in Brasileirão 2023 and found the net on four occasions.
