Palmeiras is negotiating with Orlando City, from MLS, for the transfer of Colombian striker Iván Angulo, 24.
Based on information from the Goal portal, FNV found that conversations between the clubs on the issue have been going on for some time and have resumed in recent weeks.
The winger is on loan with the North American team until the end of the current season. Orlando is negotiating the acquisition of the player starting at US$1.5 million (R$7.5 million), a value that could still change.
Alviverde paid 2.5 million Euros (R$13.4 million) to Envigado (COL) for his signing in July 2019.
Angulo arrived at Palmeiras for the under-20s and was not used in the professional team.
In 2020, Vanderlei Luxemburgo even asked to return from a loan to Cruzeiro for the State finals.
Angulo played for 5 minutes in the first game of the final and did not wear the Palmeiras shirt again. He was then loaned to Botafogo, where he made four appearances. Afterwards he was back at Envigado and Portimonense, where he had more success, until arriving in Florida.
For the US team, he has 44 games, four goals and five assists.
