On Thursday night (14), in a game valid for the 23rd round of the Brazilian Championship, Red Bull Bragantino beat Grêmio 2-0, at Nabi Abi Chedid. Tricolor Gaúcho did not perform well and was harshly criticized by the fans, who flooded social media with negative reactions to the team led by Renato Gaúcho.
Among the main dissatisfactions of Grêmio fans, one in particular caught attention. Most of the tricolors questioned the team’s preparation, which had around 10 days to train and rest amid the Fifa Data parade and presented a repertoire well below expectations. Coach Renato Gaúcho, the club’s board of directors and some players such as Gabriel Grando and JP Galvão were the targets most cited by fans.
Bums! 10 days to train and rest to play with this carelessness

Playing for salary? No desire at all! Same stance as in the game against Palmeiras! The team is already defeated, without even competing! There’s no point in asking for a partner if the team doesn’t represent the fans when they’re far away! Disgusting posture! Rotten!

What a fiasco, with more than 10 days of training and nothing shows!! Like always! This team only plays in the arena! It’s always this fiasco outside the house!

Grêmio is the only team that the more time they have to train, the worse they get

Grêmio’s situation in the Brasileirão
Eliminated from the Copa do Brasil and with no continental competitions on the calendar, Grêmio only has the Brazilian Championship to compete until the end of the season. And despite the defeat to Red Bull Bragantino this Thursday (14), it can be said that Imortal’s campaign is surprisingly positive so far.
With 39 points won, Grêmio occupies third place in the Brasileirão, behind only Botafogo and Palmeiras. If Fluminense, currently in sixth place, beats Vasco on Saturday (16), Tricolor will be overtaken and will drop one position in the table.
In 22 rounds played, Imortal recorded 12 wins, three draws and seven defeats, with 34 goals scored and 27 conceded. It is worth noting that the team from Rio Grande do Sul has one game less compared to most of the clubs in the Brasileirão. The match against Corinthians, valid for the 15th round, will take place next Monday (18).
