This Saturday morning (16), at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, Corinthians began work towards the match against Grêmio, which takes place on Monday (18), at 9 pm, at Neo Química Arena, for the 15th round of the Brazilian championship.
The athletes who played for more than 45 minutes in the last game performed strength work in the gym, inside the CT. The others went to field 3, starting the activities with a warm-up under the guidance of the physical preparation team. Afterwards, coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo divided the group with specific positioning training in the offensive and defensive sectors. In the end, some athletes trained submissions as a complement.
Three athletes from the youth categories participated in the training. Defenders Alexandre (2004), Fernando Vera (2005), and João Pedro (2003).
Corinthians will carry out their last preparatory training session this Sunday afternoon (17) for the clash against Grêmio. After the activity, the cast will remain concentrated at the Gildásio Miranda hotel, in CT Dr. Joaquim Grava.
