This is an ordeal in reference to a celebration by football vice-president Marcos Braz for the Rio de Janeiro club’s title in the 2022 Libertadores. In the locker room after the victory over Athletico, the manager sang this same song with the players, already projecting a possible final with the Merengues in the Club World Cup.
David Luiz even asked Braz to calm down in the video that went viral on social media. Especially after Flamengo was eliminated by Al-Ahli in the World Cup semi-final. In other words: there wasn’t even a confrontation with Real Madrid in the grand final.

São Paulo climbed with Wellington Rato
Dorival Júnior joined São Paulo with Wellington Rato as a big surprise for the decision against Flamengo. Luciano, the club’s fifth highest scorer in the history of knockouts, starts on the bench. Arboleda, who was doubtful before the final due to muscle pain, will go into the game as a starter.
