Play in the Spain national team: « Playing for the national team would be a dream. A reward for all the work I do for the better. Seeing my teammates, like Abel Ruiz and Victor Gómez, playing in the under-21 Euro or going to the A national team made me very proud . I didn’t play in the youth teams, but I don’t rule out having an opportunity sooner or later. »
Play for Athletic Bilbao, the club in the city where he grew up: « Would you like to play for Athletic one day? It has always been a very important club for me, all my friends are from Athletic… and it would be nice to be close to my family again. But my mind is now only on Braga and in succeeding at this club. »
Play against Real Madrid in the Champions League: « The team celebrated a lot when Real Madrid landed. Playing in the stadium of the club that has the most Champions Leagues is something to be proud of. It’s one of those games where everyone will give their all. »
Qualification for Champions: « It was really funny when we qualified for the Champions League group stage. Coach Artur Jorge came to me and said: ‘Three years ago we were in the Portuguese third division and now we’re going to play against the best teams in the world’. »
Braga as one of the greats of Portugal: « This Monday I was at the Cidade Desportiva presentation, it’s impressive, it has nothing to envy to other great teams. Besides, we’re fighting for the title. Braga is one of the four strongest clubs in Portugal. »
