Corinthians will have a new addition to its coaching staff. Former player and with experience on the technical committee of the Brazilian Under-20 and adult team, Bia Vaz is Timão’s newest technical assistant.

An athlete until the 2017 season, Bia spent her career outside the field as a technical assistant. Thus, she was in the main Brazilian team and also in the under-20 team, passages that brought her into contact with a good part of our squad.

“I’m really happy with this opportunity to work here at Corinthians. It’s an immense challenge and I know how to scale it. I understand the demands of having a club like the one I am at, with all the history built in the sport, but this motivates me to do my best every day. We have a strong, competitive, winning team here and I want to be able to contribute every day to keep it that way”, said the new technical assistant.

At Timão, Bia already participates in the routine at the training center, especially with Rodrigo Iglesias, the team’s current assistant. She also closely followed Brabas’ entire preparation in the final stretch of the Brazilian Championship.
