Last Saturday (26), Flamengo drew 0-0 with Internacional, in a game valid for the 21st round of the Brazilian Championship. Even though they faced a mixed team from Colorado, the team from Rio did not manage to impose themselves in front of their fans and did not manage to win.
Thus, the result is just a sample of a Flamengo season far below expectations. After winning the Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil in 2022, the numerous defeats this year have been the reason for several questions among the professionals who are in charge of the club from Rio.
Thus, even if he has achieved a good first impression, Jorge Sampaoli’s permanence in the technical command of the Rubro-Negro is uncertain. With that, Kleber Leite, who was president of Flamengo, asked Mano Menezes to assume the post of coach of Mengão. However, fans question the alternative of the former president of the club to rely on the former commander of Inter himself.
Kleber Leite, former president of Flamengo, asks for the departure of coach Jorge Sampaoli and suggests the hiring of Mano Menezes or Filipe Luís, effective as coach until the end of the season.

How does this guy still have relevance? It’s a lot of stage for crazy. For those who speak and for those who are quoted.

Kleber Leite almost bankrupted Flamengo. He should be silent.

Kleber Leite and any other fan giving an opinion is the same as nothing. It has no strength for anything.
Silly to give the stage to a former president who had a terrible administration.

Jorge Sampaoli’s passage at Flamengo
Jorge Sampaoli arrived at Flamengo in the middle of this season and is experiencing one of the most contested moments. After the elimination to Olímpia, in the round of 16 of this year’s Libertadores, the charges increased and the poor performance of the red-black squad fell to the Chilean coach.
In summary, there are only 34 matches in charge of Fla, with 19 wins, nine draws and six wins. On the other hand, even if Sampaoli’s numbers at Flamengo are good, some problems, such as physical trainer Pablo Fernández’s aggression towards striker Pedro, caused discomfort between coach and players.
Numbers of Mano Menezes at Inter
Fired from Internacional in April, Mano Menezes arrived at Beira-Rio in 2022 and was responsible for leading Colorado in the Brazilian runner-up campaign last season, just behind Palmeiras, by Abel Ferreira.
In total, Mano was ahead in 81 matches at Internacional, with 39 wins, 29 draws and only 13 defeats. However, two state campaigns where the team from Rio Grande do Sul did not reach the finals, in addition to an elimination by Melgar, in the Copa Sudamericana, meant that the 61-year-old coach did not have continuity in the position.
