Russian Vitali Lystov is returning to Portuguese football

União de Leiria announced this Thursday the signing of Vitali Lystov, 28 years old, to reinforce the defense of the team that currently occupies 11th position in the II League.

According to SAD Leiria, Lystov signed a contract for one season, returning to União de Leiria, which he previously represented, in the 2014/15 season.

In recent seasons, the Lokomotiv-trained defender has represented several teams in the Russian league, the last of which was Khimki.

In Portugal, and after playing in Leiria, Vasili Lystov also joined the Tondela squad and Benfica’s B and under-23 teams.

With the signing of the Russian defender, the number of reinforcements hired this season for the team led by Vasco Botelho da Costa increases to 12.
